Diplomacy is the way communication takes place between different nations or rulers. Diplomatic language always uses very respectful forms and takes care of the forms avoiding misunderstanding or insult.
A diplomatic letter It is used to communicate to another ruler or nation a certain aspect on which there is disagreement, but always seeking dialogue and understanding.
The diplomatic letter it can be used as a means of communication between countries, such as between governors and presidents or deputies; that is, between any representatives of a governmental power or authority, which has the purpose of deal with a matter without affecting the good relations between the sender of the letter and the addressee.
The parts of a diplomatic letter They are:
- Place and date it is issued.
- A folio or identification number of said letter.
- Name and title of the recipient.
- Issue to be addressed.
- An introductory greeting written in respectful language.
- Message body.
- Farewell in which the actions to follow are indicated or awaiting the answer to the matter discussed.
- Name, signature and position of the sender.

Dear Lic. Urbina Receive, I have the honor to refer to the Trade Agreement between the States of Aguascalientes and Querétaro that has been in effect since November 22, 1968 and that the government you serve has requested some reforms.
