Sample Truancy Letter

The truancy letter, is a letter that is presented to the teacher or director of a school campus and its purpose is to inform the directors of the campus of the circumstances that produced the absence the reasons can be varied, and are generally ratified by the parents or guardians. Your application can also be of a personal nature and be submitted by adults who are pursuing professional studies.

C. Campus Director (or responsible teacher):

I subscribe hereto, on behalf of my youngest son Fernando Canales Nora, a student who is in the 5th year of primary school at his campus.

With this letter I come to justify the absence of my son Fernando, yesterday, August 9, 2012, a circumstance that occurred for personal reasons.

These reasons, being private, will be reserved, but for this letter, I am responsible for the consequences that such failure may produce.

For such circumstance, I remain at your disposal, so that, if required, the interview is set at the appropriate time.
