Mary:
I am writing to let you know that my arrival from the barracks will be in the month of July, and I have not been able to communicate due to my circumstance and my obligations, for that reason I resort to the mail, which is issued directly by the staff of the barracks.
I hope to arrive with gifts for the children, and pipe tobacco for your father, I also warn you that my leave will be for a month, so I consider it convenient to go on vacation somewhere.
I hope you have a happy birthday and I send you my congratulations in advance, as I will not be in a position to communicate for the next three months.
Kisses and greetings to all.
Ruben.
