Appointment:
“… Muhammad was a lascivious man, who tried to justify with false revelations an unbridled sensuality, which could not be controlled by either the Arab customs or the laws of the Koran. Endowed with true talent, he applied it in recent years to make his religious and political ideas triumph, unscrupulously employing the worst means, such as murder, theft and lies… ”.
Review
In this text, the author deals with the issues from a subjective point of view, claiming that in each event there is a direct intervention of the divine. The historical data and his analysis is tendentious and distorted, as in the quoted paragraph, in which he mentions: “in which it is said Muhammad tried to justify his lewdness and sensuality rampant, which could not hold back either the Arab customs or the laws of the Qur'an. " And later he makes the reference that to justify these behaviors, he wrote the Quran. It is an error of logic that confuses and even misleads the less observant reader, since if Muhammad wrote the Qur'an from the revelations he received, he could not contravene the laws of the Qur'an.
