Example of Elaboration of the Scheme

Immediately after the statement of the hypothesis, we proceed to the drawing up the scheme preliminary, in order to become a guide to the investigation. This first scheme will undergo many modifications as the data collection progresses.

Scheme = graphic representation of the item broken down.

The scheme constitutes the fundamental structure of the work, hence the following characteristics are taken into account for its preparation:

a) The main headings should correspond to the main ideas.

b) Secondary ideas with the same hierarchy should be written in the same way and placed at the same level.

c) The division and subdivision must contain precise information about its content.

d) In each divided subsection there must be at least two subsections.

e) The subsections and subparagraphs must be numbered; For this, the Roman and Arabic numerals combined with the alphabet can be followed; or the decimal numbering. The latter is more practical as the division possibilities are greater.

f) Items with the same hierarchy must carry the same grammatical form throughout the entire scheme.
