The cientific method It is a series of steps and processes that researchers and scientists follow in order to obtain their results and that can finally form scientific theories and laws:
The scientific method is used mainly in sciences such as:
- Biological Sciences
- Natural Sciences
- Mathematical sciences
- Astronomy
- Physical
- Chemistry
- Medicine etc.
Scientific method example:
In order to carry out the scientific process, it was divided into various stages, which are the following:
1.- Observation: Observation consists of observing the phenomenon, substance, compound or living being that is being studying in detail, taking great care to record all its characteristics, features and behaviors.
In the observation, annotations and records can also be made, which will allow to check the phenomena later.
2.- Statement of the problem: The problem statement consists of exposing the results that were obtained in an orderly way and in different ways such as chronological, logical or both.
3.- Formulation of hypotheses:
The formation of a hypothesis is carried out with the data observed in the problem posed, it is based on logic and different hypotheses that give different explanations to the problem and that can be verified later in the stage of the experimentation.4.- Experimentation: The experimentation consists of repeating and reproducing the phenomenon or fact already studied trying to expose the phenomena in the most exact way possible.
5.- Analysis of results: Results analysis is called the comparison process related to all the experiments carried out. Here the feasibility obtained from the results will be compared.
6.- Theory and Law: These are the ones that formulate the rules to follow.
Theory: The theory occurs when the hypothesis has elements of proof that are feasible to be tested or that have not been fully resolved.
On many occasions, the necessary experimentation for its adequate verification has not been designed.
Theories are feasible as follow-up points until there is a law that confirms it or a law that rejects it completely. (False principle or false science)
Law: The law is the ultimate goal of the scientific method, in this the hypothesis is considered sufficiently proven and there is no doubt as to the accuracy and veracity of the experiments, having the quality of repeating itself and always yielding the same result, the repetition can be done in another place and in another circumstance, always yielding the same Outcome.
