The workplan It is an instrument used to organize and structure the information necessary to develop a project in a given time.
The workplan It is a type of manual that suggests how to efficiently use technological resources, materials, financial and human resources that are available to plan, execute, implement and supervise a draft.
The workplan it has to have a logical order where each point is derived from the previous one, since otherwise it would not be coherent.
Example of a work plan:
Project's name.
1. Introduction.
- The objectives to be achieved in this workplan.
2. Specific objectives in relation to the management of the project.
3. Alignment with strategic and tactical considerations of the organization.
- Consider strategies to control the project objective, effort (hours per person), time (calendar days), and costs required for the project.
4. Processes, policies, guides and techniques.
- The procedures, guides, policies and techniques for carrying out the project are documented in: norm, standard, book or text, process documentation, course material ...
5. Project measurement plan.
- According to the phases of the project life cycle, the following measurements are made:
- Initial estimated time according to the technique selected for the project.
- Feasibility / initiation / conception phase.
- Estimated direct effort.
- Planning and design / organization and preparation / preparation phase.
- Construction phase / completion of work.
- Critical change requests.
6. For all phases.
In each phase of the project, measurements of:
- Estimated and actual duration.
- Total Estimated Duration = Initial Estimated Duration + Authorized Extensions.
- Estimated effort for additions and total estimated effort.
- Costs
7. Construction phase / completion of work.
8. Completion and commissioning / closure / transition phase.
