Being one of the largest and most influential countries in Latin America, Venezuela has a population of about 28 and a half million inhabitants in an area of almost 915 thousand square km. The territory Venezuelan has artificially created boundaries shared with other countries (Dominican Republic, Caribbean islands, Brazil, Colombia, Guyana) as well as natural limits (especially in what makes a large part of its northern border that borders the Mar Caribbean). In addition, it has some small islands near its coast and located in the Caribbean waters.
The capital of Venezuela is the very important and super beautiful city of Caracas, a tourist, administrative and political center of the country. As for your government, Venezuela is officially a Federal Republic, a notion to which the presidential characteristic is added, which gives special stardom to the incumbent president. In turn, Venezuela is politically organized in 23 federal states, in addition to the federal district (Caracas) and other non-continental dependencies.
Due to its extension, we cannot speak of a single weather or geography in the case of Venezuela. Its territory is determined by the tropical, dry, temperate and cold climates depending on each of the zones. At the same time, the flora and fauna of the place is incredibly wonderful, finding animals such as toucans, bears, sea and land turtles, fabulous numbers of smaller birds, iguanas, dolphins and whales among thousands of others.
The main economic activities in Venezuela today have to do with oil extraction. Others natural resourcesLike different types of metals, they are also an important part of Venezuelan wealth and therefore are extracted and traded. At the same time, Venezuela dedicates a large part of its territory to agricultural production from raw materials such as tropical fruits, cotton, sugar cane, corn, potatoes, rice, coffee, cocoa and tobacco to name just a few. Fishing is obviously extremely important due to the permanent contact with the maritime spaces that this country has.
