Energy Characteristics

Energy in physics is all force capable of producing movementRegardless of the cause, energy is the generating cause, in its etymology the word energy comes from Latin "energy" that previously derived from the Greek word ένέρϒεια, which translates to force and action or force of action.
This is how we qualify as energy characteristics to the triggering cause of a physical action, whatever it may be.
Main characteristics of the energy:
1.- Reaction start
Energy is characterized by being the initial cause of any physical or chemical reaction, all movement is produced by energy. Energy is the generating force of all movement.
2.- Measurement
Energy has the characteristic of being measurable; For each type of energy a type of measurement has been created, be it thermal, chemical, or physics of movement, even nuclear and atomic energy have measurement parameters.
3.- Storage
Many energies or energy sources can be stored as with fuels, coal and electricity, which also allows their mobility and transfer.
4.- It is neither created nor destroyed
This principle consists in that physically and chemically energy is only transformed, it cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be transformed.
5.- Degradation
Energy degrades, which is why, having been used, it cannot be used again.
6.- Changes
Energy has two types of physical changes
- Mechanical changes.- These changes consist of physical variations of the objects, such as expansion, deformation, temperature rise, etc.
- Thermal changes.- These are evidently those that produce an increase or decrease in temperature.
- Follow with: Types of energy.
Types of energy:
Tidal Elegy.- It is defined as Mereomotor energy, for the kinetic axis produced by the sea and that will be formed into electrical energy by means of man-made devices.
Chemical energy.- Chemical energy is produced by taking advantage of the chemical reactions of the materials, an effect that can be evidenced in batteries.
Kinetic energy.- Kinetic energy is all energy a movement is produced, the concept of "kinetics" directly implies movement.
Electric power.- This type of energy is the best known and most used, there are different ways of producing it but its existence basically consists of the movement of electrical charges found in conductive materials producing effects such as light, temperature and magnetism.
Wind power.- Wind energy is part of the kinetic energies, as it uses a series of phenomena such as the wind and the changes in temperature that generate it so that some vanes move a generator and the produce.
Geothermal energy.- Geothermal energy takes advantage of the thermal energy found on the planet can be produced or the temperature of volcanoes, geysers and other means, finally producing electrical energy.
Hydraulic energy.- This type of energy is obtained by taking advantage of the fall of water both companies and shells which they move a series of vanes that operate a series of turbines that produce energy by means of dynamos electrical.
Non-renewable energy.- If you have defined as non-renewable energy the energy that is obtained through oil and natural gas, the which by their nature, if they would be renewed, would require millions of years, a high pressure and temperature of the land.
Nuclear energy.- This type of energy is produced by the so-called nuclear fusion, for its production certain minerals such as uranium and plutonium are used. This is part of the chemical energy generation processes.
Renewable energy.- The renewable energy in which it is produced and when left unused can be produced again from scratch; here we can find energies such as solar, wind and geothermal that we mentioned.
Solar energy.- Solar energy is that which is produced by the so-called pact sun, which is the star that is in the center of your solar system.
Thermal energy.- Thermal energy as we already mentioned is any type of energy that has been produced with heat or that produces color.
Clean mejía.- They have defined as clean energy all those energies that do not cause damage to the planet as happens with energy produced by oil or chemical energy from nuclear plants which produced serious damage to the so-called layer ozone. Among clean energies we can mention geothermal, hydro, wind and solar energy.
