Its range of products is wide: writing instruments, watches, leather accessories and gift items.
The brand is part of the Richemont Group, one of the world's leading companies in the luxury goods sector.
Apart from business activity, there is the Montblanc Foundation. This entity encourages creative activities and supports educational programs in collaboration with UNICEF. Likewise, in 2013 the draft Power of Words in order to promote the legacy of Nelson Mandela.

This company began its journey in the German city of Hamburg in 1906 when three partners joined forces: an engineer from Berlin (August Eberstein), a Hamburg banker (Alfred Nehemias) and a stationery merchant (Claus -Johannes Voss). Initially they were associated to manufacture fountain pens and for this they received the inspiration of some pens that they saw in New York and that incorporated a small ink charger. In a establishment In Hamburg in 1909 the first Montblanc pen with its characteristic white cap was released.
In a very short time, the new fountain pen achieved remarkable sales success because its writing was clean and the ink glided smoothly. In the following years, new stores were opened in Germany and in the main European cities.
In 1924 a fountain pen appeared that would eventually become a icon of the brand, the Montblanc Meisterstück (the number 4810 is engraved on its gold rings, which refers to the exact height of the Mountain Mont Blanc).
In 2006 the centenary of the company was celebrated with an original presentation: a diamond cut in the shape of the six rounded points of your business logo. With this announcement, a new project began within the luxury jewelry market.
