The concept of Adventist has a use excluding in the plane religious since through it it is possible, on the one hand, to designate to everything that is associated or proper to Adventism and on the other hand, the person who follows or professes this doctrine of religious faith.
Adventism is a Protestant current that emerges from Christianity and whose origin is located in the United States, as the foundation and pillar of its belief promotes that a new arrival of Christ, son of God, is about to produceand.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church It is the one most associated with this religious faith and therefore one of the most recognized as Adventism in the entire world.
Unlike the religion Catholic, we must point out that Adventism stands out because it takes up to date Saturday as the day of recollection and in which God is honored and remembered. Christians, on the other hand, take Sunday as a special day to profess their faith and recognition of God, it is even the day in which Christians most attend mass to worship God.

The origin of this religious faith that today brings together around 20 million faithful is found in the proposals of the preacher William Miller back in the 19th century. It would be precisely in the middle of this century that Miller began preaching a second and imminent coming of Jesus to our earth. His action gave rise to a movement which would be known as the Millerite Movement and it is precisely to this that one of its most loyal followers adhered, Ellen Gould Harmon of White. White is designated as one of the founders of the Adventist Church.
Jehovah's Witnesses they are also descended from the Millerite movement.
Adventists are also noted for the particular recommendations they follow and strictly abide by regarding their feeding. And it was precisely Ellen who proposed in her time the practice vegetarianism and refraining from drinks such as alcohol and infusions such as coffee and tea, among other considerations, to maintain the care of the body, according to its particular perspective.
