Liberal Party is the name commonly adopted by those political parties of ideology liberal, that is to say, broadly speaking, parties of this type are promulgated in favor of civil liberties and individual rights.

Some of the top representatives of the liberal system have been: Montesquieu, Adam Smith, John Locke, Benjamin Franklin, Juan Bautista Alberdi, Octavio Paz, Max Weber, Voltaire, among others.
