Canada is currently one of the largest countries in the world (it is effectively the second largest behind Russia), located in the extreme north of America and bordering the United States in much of its border to the south and west (with the North American state of Alaska). Due to its size, Canada is bathed by the waters of both the Ocean Pacific as well as the Atlantic Ocean and is also close to the largest island in the world, Greenland, which belongs to Denmark.
Canada has a identity very particular, the result of the combination of native peoples, mostly Eskimos or Inuits, and European peoples who arrived at different times in the history of this territory to populate the virgin lands. These European settlers (both English, French and Dutch) were the ones who carried out the process of colonization and urbanization of great part of the Canadian territory, establishing in many parts urban centers that would later grow to become the imposing cities that we meet today. Among them we can mention Québec, Toronto, Victoria, Vancouver, Ottawa and Winnipeg.
Being located in the extreme north of the continent, and being one of the northernmost countries on the planet, the weather from Canada could not be other than cold. Throughout the territory we find variations, especially in the southern regions where the most populated urban centers are found. In addition, Canada has a significant portion of its surface occupied by large lakes and ponds that contribute to the formation of Cold climates and wet.
Regarding your organization administrative, Canada is divided into ten provinces and three territories joined later to the Canadian union. The capital of Canada is the incredible city of Ottawa (located in the province of Ontario) despite the fact that the city with the largest movementcultural, tourist and population is the city of Toronto (located south of the same province, almost on the border with the United States).
