The narrative text is a writing that tells us or "narrates" as its name indicates, stories, tales, facts or myths, in which real or fictional characters intervene, the The main characteristic is that these texts must be told by a narrator, but it is emphasized that the narrator can be a secondary character, the main character or the voice that narrates, etc., that depends on how it is devised by the author of a narration, that is, the narrator does not necessarily have to be the author of the text, it can be another participant within the history.
Whenever we read a story or a testimony we find ourselves in front of a narrative text.
How is a narrative text structured? Like all texts, it is necessary that there be an introduction, a knot that is the part that poses the conflict of the story and the denouement or end of it. It is important to take into account that within the structure we must consider the chronology, which is the main basis for developing the story.
One of the main characteristics of narrative texts is that they have a place and time, this in turn can be external or historical (based on actual dates) or internal (takes place within history and is not necessarily located within real time or based on a part of time existing).
The main elements that make up the narrative texts are the narrator, characters (real or fictitious), space (place where the events take place), structure and time. emphasize that in these texts they must be accompanied by action and elements of intrigue, same elements that will reinforce the attraction in the story, in addition to considering the abundant use of verbs.
