The Earth is heated by the action of the Sun and this phenomenon is what allows the development of life on our planet. This form of Energy it is also an alternative to cooking conventional.
Solar cookers have a parabolic shape and inside they are covered with a reflective material that facilitates the concentration of heat. They are normally made of recyclable aluminum and with them it is possible to cook or fry any type of food.
The concave part of the artifact makes the light rays meet at a single point, which becomes the focus of maximum intensity of heat.
The solar cooker does not pretend to be a definitive alternative to the stove or the glass ceramic, but it is a very viable option for those who want to live with more ecological criteria and using energy clean. These kitchens have proven their effectiveness in some territories where there has been a deforestation massive and the villagers need some source of energy to cook.
Advantages and disadvantages
This mode of food preparation is healthy and totally ecological. It is a respectful alternative to the
environment, because with it you no longer use gas, coal, firewood or any other type of fuel. On the other hand, it is easy to use and its price in the market is quite affordable.It only has two drawbacks: logic Dependence on the Sun and the cooking time of food is superior to conventional systems.
Basic safety and use measures
To condition this type of kitchen you have to take some measures. First, stabilize it on the ground firmly, whether in the garden or in the backyard of the house. Then it is oriented in the direction of the Sun and the device is paralyzed. When the glow is directed towards the center of the appliance, the saucepan or frying pan is placed where the food is to be cooked.
It is recommended that the pans or pots used are matte black. Normally these kitchens reach a temperature 200 degrees centigrade.

To place the pots or pans it is necessary to protect your hands.
To cook, avoid dazzling the device in the eyes and for this reason reason the artifact should be placed in the position that has the least reflection. During the cooking process it is advisable to wear dark glasses to avoid any glare.
When this appliance is not used, it is advisable to put it in the off position and place it down.
