The word set It is a term that admits several uses in our language.
One of the uses of the word that we use the most in our language is to express the placement of something in a certain place. Put that antenna on the TV and so you can get a better signal.
We also use the word to express the dprovision of something with the mission of achieving a certain objective. Put the cover on the chair so we avoid getting dirty.
Another recurring use is as synonymous with terms like add and drop, being used especially at the behest of thegastronomywhen we want to indicate that we must add something to a preparation, for example, add one more egg to the cake batter.
While, when something is turned on or a apparatus electric works, we use the word put to express it. Put me on the television, do me that favor before you go.
On the other hand, when someone sets up a business we usually express it in terms of putting. Laura just put up an antique shop that is beautiful.
In our everyday conversations, when we want
give rise to a hypothesis or an assumption, we do it through the word put. It tells him that it is how you say and Juan did not get angry with us, why then he does not speak to us.Meanwhile, at the behest of birds, the word put is widely used because through it they realize that they have achieved breed. The hen you gave me has already laid two eggs.
Likewise, the word put is used to indicate the concealment of stars, such is the case of the sun.
And other very recurrent uses of the term in our language are: mention or express in a document written (put in the writing who is debt free); expose something or someone to a certain action (put us all in danger with that decision); impose (they put us a new tax those of us who live in the city); dress (put on a black dress for dinner).
The word that directly opposes the concept of putting is put off, which precisely refers the elimination or separation of something, either from a space or site.
