The term Properties corresponds to the plural of the word property. Meanwhile, this concept stands out for presenting various meanings, in various contexts, which make it a widely used word in our language.
At the request of right, property is the direct and immediate power that an individual has over a certain object or good and that is why this person will be able to dispose of of the same when you want and according to what your will proposes, only limiting this to the restrictions that if necessary the law.
Meanwhile, property rights will be subject to that property that can be appropriated and there are three conditions: that the property is useful, that it exists in limited quantity and that it can be occupied. For example, a house, an apartment, are clear examples.
On the other hand, property law comprises three powers that come from the roman law: ius utendi or use, ius fruendi or enjoyment and ius abutendi or enjoyment.
Private property
Private property is considered to be the total legal power that someone, or a company, has over a thing, a company, a boat, among others. By case their owners may dispose of them in the way they consider it and they will even be the owners who will decide the fate of their private properties when they are no longer physically in this world.
Private property is basically a right of the people, without exceptions, and also implies a guarantee of protection that the individual has before the possible advance that a state or its authorities may make on the property private.
Just as there are staunch defenders of private property, there are also detractors, such is the case of ideologies such as socialism and the Marxism who consider that property should be common and not individual.
Industrial property
Industrial property is represented by that series of rights that a natural or legal person may have with respect to an invention, a design, or a brand, among others. This gives the individual or company the right to use, enjoy, the design or the invention, as they please and also to block a third party from using it without their consent.
And it is precisely this last question that is the most remarkable thing that arises from industrial property since enables the right holder to claim a payment or royalty in the event of usufruct by a third. Generally these permits have a temporary and territorial validity.
More uses of the term
Also when you want to account for a attribute or essential quality that a thing has, the word property is often used to talk about the issue. For example, conductivity is one of the properties that a material such as copper exhibits.
On the other hand and at the request of the grammar and the use of language, the term property is often used when an individual expresses himself with accuracy and precision when using and combining words. When this situation occurs, it is often said that this or that is expressed with great property when speaking.
And in some parts of Latin America, such as Argentina, the word properties is widely used to designate those buildings, houses, land, apartments, intended for housing or for commercial use, that people have and that can decide as a result of their ownership to put them up for sale or in rental.
