A Christian is defined as any person who follows the religion Christian. This monotheistic religion is based on the belief of one God, the Lord, who created the world and sent his only son, Christ, to redeem it from his sins. The Christian religion shares this God with him Judaism, although the Jews do not accept Christ as the son of the Lord.
According to Christian betrayal, the son of the Lord, Christ, also alternately called Jesus of Nazareth (his birthplace), came into the world to save the race human of the sins naturally committed by her. In very general terms this is what essentially defines a Christian, along with the ideas that Christ is not only the son of the Lord but he is also God, who is the Messiah promised in the Old Will, who has given his life for human salvation, dying crucified on the cross and who after three days rose from the dead to occupy his triumphal place next to his Father in heaven.
Christian is then the one who believes in all these assumptions and who must also demonstrate the delivery of himself to Jesus based on facts such as Baptism, Communion, Confirmation,
I respect by the ten Commandments and others that have to do with daily behavior: attendance at mass, communion of the body of Jesus, maintenance of a life of solidarity and love to the neighbor.Today, Christianity is the religion with the largest number of adherents, estimated to exceed two billion believers worldwide. Within this religion we can include different branches that have been separated over time such as Protestants, Orthodox, Anglicans, Evangelicals, Jehovah's Witnesses, Quakers, and others. All of them, however, are united by the belief in Jesus Christ as the only son of God.
