The word quality refers to the characteristics or traits that an object, a person or a situation can have. The quality is an attribute that can be entological (that is, inherent to that object, person or situation) in the same way that it can be an acquired and modifiable quality over time. The qualities can be extremely diverse when speaking of the same individual or object and they can refer to a myriad of different characters.
The qualities are characteristics that individualize living beings or objects from the rest of the components of their group or species to which they belong. They define a person or a thing.
It is important to note that although the terms quality and quality are related, they are not necessarily similar since the notion of quality can imply negative aspects
The quality is, then, any element that can serve to describe a person or object, for example: that an individual is nice it is a quality in the same way that a wardrobe is large. While some of these qualities are inherent, as already said (for example, in the case of the human being an inherent quality is that he has four members), others can be acquired over time (for example, when an object loses its original color and acquires another due to spending and excessive use).
The qualities of an individual, object or situation are normally expressed through adjectives. Items such as size, color, weight, and other external qualities add to the qualities internally, normally visible in animals and humans (for example, qualities such as goodness, the intelligence or laziness).
The qualities of people influenced by personality and environment
In the specific case of people, the qualities can be innumerable and varied and are intimately linked with their personality, the way of being and also with the capabilities that it displays.
Also, the social environment will play a preponderant role when it comes to perceiving qualities. Thus, they can be perceived negatively or, failing that, positively. For example, in some contexts an outgoing person, who talks to everyone, who participates in everything may be considered as a positive quality, while in others it may be involved, arrogant or upset. That is why we said that the social environment also plays in the determination of quality.
In any case, it is worth noting that as a quality of people there is a tendency to consider all those positive qualities and not the negative ones.
On the other hand, we must emphasize that some people are capable of achieving qualities that they did not naturally possess through effort and work. It takes time in some cases but it is absolutely possible for someone to cultivate a quality because he believes it will pay off in his life. For example patience, knowing how to wait.
Physical qualities
And continuing with people we cannot ignore the inherent in physical qualities, so recognized by the way, both in the good and in the bad. A person can be classified in this or that way by their physical characteristics. Among them we can cite those that make up the appearance and that determine that we are considered cute or ugly, fat or skinny, among others and also include those corresponding to the velocity, the force, resistance, Balance and the coordination.
The study of the qualities can vary according to the type of object on which the investigation. That is, if you study the qualities of inanimate objects you will probably be talking about physical issues, while if you talk of the qualities of living beings, the question can be addressed from different points of view (biological, physiological, sentimental, sociological, etc.).
