Traditionally related to luxury and wealth, the word tableware, however, refers to any type of element or objects that can be used by diners at the table. The main purpose of the tableware is to allow the subject convert any time related to feeding in a situation of easy access, comfortable and enjoyable since it gives you the possibility of having all the food in the best possible way to consume them. If we take into account that it was not until recent centuries that humans began to use dishes when serving and eating their food, we will understand that much of history the moment of feeding was nothing more than a situation of lack of hygiene, sloppiness and discomfort. Without a doubt, the creation and design different styles of tableware have had to do with allowing human beings to access their food in another way, ensuring not only the best conditions of

healthiness and hygiene, if not also the greatest possible ease and comfort.

When we talk about tableware, we refer mainly to the objects that are used at the table and that are directly related to the act of eating. Here we must mention items such as plates, cutlery (knife, fork and spoon), glasses and goblets, cups and saucers, as well as other containers. Depending on the situation, the dishes can be deep dishes (for soups) or shallow (for any other preparation not liquid), dessert plates and plates to serve bread or some other item.

We can also differentiate the types of cup, finding cups of tea, coffee, soup or other preparation.
