The word volcano designates that conduit that establishes a communication direct between land surface and the levels deep of the Earth crust. The volcano is an opening or crack in the earth's crust, usually in a Mountain, by which they rise, every certain period of time, or have come out at some point, smoke, lava, gases, ashes, burning or melted matter from the interior of the earth.

The eruption of the volcano, as this process of expulsion is called, occurs when the magma, a mixture of molten rock, gases and other components, which is under pressure, begins to ascend.
Meanwhile, the chimney is the conduit that communicates the deep magmatic chamber with the earth's surface, the lava will erupt through the chimney central volcano, which may also present other formations called parasitic cones or just some that expel gases and are called fumaroles.

When a volcano does not register eruptive activity in its life, specialists agree that it is then an inactive volcano, while, those volcanoes that, on the contrary, have recently had eruptive activity or even that manifest it in the present, are called volcanoes assets.

In addition to volcanoes, there are super volcanoes, which is a type of volcano that is characterized and differs from common because it presents voluminous eruptions, with strong explosions and a huge amount of magma expelled. This guy turns out to be so powerful that he even has the ability to modify the weather of the place where they are for long years and alter the scenery that surrounds them in a radical way.

The term volcano comes from the Latin word Vulcan, which referred to instances of Roman mythology to the god of metals and fire, married to Venus and father of Jupiter and Juno. For this culture, Vulcan was the creator of the weapons and armor with which heroes defended themselves.

But the term volcano also has other uses... language and popular culture tends to use it to account for that very strong feeling or burning passion that someone feels for another or when they want to refer to a person as passionate or ardent.
