To the concept of trend We give it two uses in our language. On the one hand, we can express through it the inclination that someone has for somethingFor example, a person who traditionally panics when faced with bad news or when things go wrong will tell himself that he has a tendency to sadness.
And on the other hand a tendency designates that movement, current, enrolled in fields such as religious, political or artistic, among others and that is oriented towards this or that direction. That is to say, in this sense of the term, the tendency implies the preference that someone has towards a certain end. For example, According to the first trends polled at the exit, the ruling party would find itself losing the legislative election.
It should be noted that the concept of trend is widely used in the scope of the fashion, using it as a synonym for fashion. Thus, fashion or trend refers to style that predominates in terms of clothing and accessories during a certain time, present or past and that as such knows how to leave an indelible mark and somehow becomes the icon or model that everyone wants to follow.
For example, in the sixties, the miniskirt, which is a short skirt that reaches above the knee and constitutes one of the feminine garments par excellence, it became a trend in those years and even today it continues to be a trend on the rise when women's fashion is treats.
But the imposition of a trend does not usually reach the world alone but usually appears accompanied by a message that she invites the world to get on that trend and on that path it is common for those who do not join the trend to be old or lacking in vibe. That is, you do not wear a miniskirt, so you are an old woman who will not stand out at all in terms of fashion.
It is important to be careful about the messages that are given in this regard since they can originate discrimination.
The concept that is opposed to the trend is that of disgust, because it expresses the disgust, discontent that something awakens in someone and that therefore will make me reject it.
