It is called hospital to the place where individuals suffering from a certain disease and who go to him in order to receive a diagnosis and subsequent treatment for your condition.
Depending on the type of pathology they treat, there are different types of hospitals, such as maternal infant, geriatric, general and psychiatric, among others.
To offer and comply with providing good care, hospitals have different areas that deal with of the different health demands that may exist to avoid a general disorganization in this way. Thus, for example, the guards are counted, which are the place where patients who suffered an emergency or had an accident arrive. Then, there is the area of intensive therapy to which the most serious patients will be allocated and within what is therapy and depending on the place of course, it can also be find the intermediate therapy area in which patients who have come out of a severe condition but still require monitoring before entering a room are treated common.
And then of course, each hospital has a common analysis sector, another of more complex ones, an operating room and entire floors for the recovery of patients in rooms. Of course, all these issues will vary from country to country, but broadly speaking, these divisions can be seen in most.
Meanwhile, the hospital is made up of a series of subsystems that interact dynamically with each other: the system healthcare (includes outpatient clinics and hospitalization areas), accounting administrative system (deals with the admission and egress of patients, like everything inherent documentation in general), managerial (in charge of hospital management, policies and finance), information (refers to the computer system that keeps communicated to all areas), technical (deals with the maintenance) and teaching and investigation (area in charge of training of new professionals).
Although it is not its primary function, the hospital also plays an important role in preventionOf diseases. For example, it is very common that seminars are held on diseases or vaccination campaigns are deployed, promoted by the ministries of public health of the countries.
