We understand humility as that quality of the human being by means of which the person is modest and does not care about himself if not for others, for those around him.
Human virtue that inclines not to presume achievements, assume failures, and always seek the improvement of the common good
It's about the attitude that observes a person and that does not show off his achievements, that he is able to recognize when he fails, and eventually his weaknesses, and also acts without pride.
A humble person is not a self-centered person, but minimizes his achievements so as not to focus on them and lose objectivity in his daily actions.
It is important to say that humility is the human virtue that makes people who have it aware of their limitations.
Many consider it the sustenance of the rest of the virtues because they consider that only through an attitude that assumes defects and limitations and does not show off his achievements is that the person will be able to overcome in life in everything appearance.
Humility is overwhelming and a necessary condition if you want to achieve things in life, obviously positive and always in line with well-being and the common good.
A substantial quality for life in society that must be fostered

It is also of great importance in many of the religions in which continuous love and dedication to others is the basis of all doctrine. Humility is an attitude that distinguishes a person for his dedication and service to others instead of focusing his activity and his thought on himself, which would be an act of narcissism.
The person with humility loves his neighbor and acts based on this question proposed by God in his Ten Commandments, to always act respecting his neighbor.
The criticisms that can be made of humility come mainly from the point of view of leadership
In this sense, it can be said that a humble person sometimes finds it difficult to establish himself as a leader, to overcome others and to make decisions in a safe and direct way. This is why humility can in fact be seen as a problem when defining work roles of hierarchy, although this is not excluding.
Humility, however, is an element highly valued in social terms since in many ways a humble person can establish more peaceful and stable ties with others, in comparison with people who have a character or personality more dominant.
Humility is one of the most valued qualities but at the same time also one of the most difficult to find today due to the fact that today's world teaches to act in an individualistic or egocentric way, which is why humble people are scarce and obviously if they exist they always stand out in the crowd.
It would be important, for all the highly favorable questions that we express about it, that the virtue of humility be promoted with greater effusion by all the actors. that interact in our community, because only in this way can we build a better, fairer, more balanced society in which the love and well-being of everyone.
The humble attitude predisposes think that anything can be plausibly improved. So if humility prevailed in the citizenship In general, not to mention the political leaders, a good part of the serious problems that afflict the countries could be solved.
The pride, its opposite
The other side of humility is pride, characterized by an arrogant and haughty way of acting; the arrogant believes himself superior to all those around him and therefore tends to humiliate and denigrate them.
Low social status
