Definition of Vandalism

At our language is called as acts of vandalism to those actions that are perpetrated by one or more people and that consist of destroying and devastating everything that is in their path. They usually attack with sum violence and impudence commercial premises, houses, buildings, schools, institutions public, among others, breaking them or attacking them directly with objects forceful that cause severe damage.

It should be noted that this action is popularly called vandalism.

The denomination as vandalism or acts of vandalism is not whimsical far from it but it has a reason for being and that is that in the past there was a Germanic barbarian people from Central Europe, which was characterized by acting in a hyper wild, uncontrolled and without I respect for with nothing and that was formally called vandals. For example, over time, that name was transferred to the language to refer to people or groups that behave in a chaotic and violent way.

Vandals are absolutely destructive, they propose to end everything that exists in their path and especially what they consider threatening or contrary to their ideas and proposals. Nor do they stop at private property or

authority that tries to stop them, they are even capable of attacking with their total savagery the authorities that intend to disarm or deactivate them.

Normally, the objects of destruction are the benches are national monuments, benches, squares, walls, which are in the public space. Some consist of graffiti in those places or directly destroy them.

The great affected by these damages is the community in general, which will be difficult when it comes to wanting to enjoy those public places that were mistreated and destroyed by vandals.

And not to mention the individuals who suffer an act of this type on their property since they will have to face the repair and restoration costs per se.

Vandalism is punishable by the normative in force of most of the world's laws, however, in some cases and situations, vandals usually attack at night, at times when the safety it is scarce and then it becomes really difficult to apprehend them red-handed.
