The surveying is the name it receives the art and technique of measuring land surfaces and drawing up the corresponding plans.
Formerly, land surveying was considered a branch of the topography (science that studies the set of principles and procedures that aim at the representation graph of the earth's surface), which had the mission of delimit the surfaces, measure the areas and rectify the corresponding limits, anyway, currently, it is considered a discipline autonomous that presents its own statute and specific language, focusing on the study of territorial objects of any scale and focused on setting all kinds of limits.
So the land survey is in good condition. produce cartographic elements and infrastructure virtual to establish plans, maps and charts , attributing advertising to government and property limits.
It should be noted that in order to carry out its tasks and activities, surveying draws on other disciplines such as geometry, engineering, physics, mathematics, the right, trigonometry, architecture, the story, the computing and edaphology.
It should be noted that surveying has been decisive in the development of the human environment, practically since the beginning of the recorded history of mankind, surveying was present and was fundamental at the time of the planning and the execution of any form of construction.
Throughout its history, land surveying has used different elements and techniques when making the pertinent measurements, among the most prominent are: surveyor's squad which facilitated the establishment of the dimensions of different angles in various directions; the union of points with a chain of known length, the compass, the barometer; the tape measure, the theodolite, a very modern instrument, of universal mechanical-optical measurement, which allows to measure vertical angles and especially those horizontal and also with some auxiliary tools you can measure unevenness and distances.
The surveyor, on the other hand, is the individual who is professionally dedicated to Surveying and therefore is specialized in measuring the surfaces of the land and then raising the corresponding plans.
