The mountaineering it's a sport what does the ascension in high mountains; also called as mountaineering and mountaineering, mountaineering is then a sports practice in which techniques, knowledge and skills are agreed, all of them oriented to the ultimate goal, which is to reach the highest point of the Mountain in question.
Sport that consists of ascending and descending to the high mountains
Mountaineering is the oldest and most complete mountain sport within the enormous variety that exists today.
We cannot ignore that in this practice of climbing the highest mountains in the world, in addition to a sporting interest, there exists in those who practice it an objective of overcoming staff that already exceeds sport.

The mountaineer, as the mountaineer is called, wants to reach the top of the mountain to demonstrate his strength, because we agree that climbing a high mountain is not an ordinary matter and common.

Origins and evolution
The activity of climbing mountains is certainly old and in the beginnings of humanity it has had needs of survivalMeanwhile, as a sports practice we must go back not too far back in time, towards the end of the 18th century.
Just at this time a group of Englishmen who only had the concern of climbing a mountain they did and of course went down in history for it, being the first to reach the top of Mont Blanc by first time. Remember that this is the highest mountain in the Alps.
With the to run of time, the practice of mountaineering evolved and specialized more and more, demanding the mountaineer to know techniques, special elements and practices such as knowing how to ski and climb on all types of terrain, as well as the corresponding knowledge about orientation.
Specialties
Within mountaineering, twelve specialties coexist: medium mountain, high mountain, hiking, expeditions, sport climbing, classic climbing (on rock or in ice), ski touring, canyoning, mountain half marathon, mountain marathon and mountain duathlon. Meanwhile, each of the aforementioned specialties has its own sports techniques, training, with regard to materials and sports medicine, although they all agree on something, except for sports climbing, and that is that the game scenario is the nature itself, with its characteristics and environmental particularities, a situation that of course will vary depending on the time of year in which the sport.
The constant variations that it presents make mountaineering a practice that mainly must be organized in detail when "going out on the court", because otherwise it will be very difficult to flourish.
Those who practice sport consider it more than just a sport, but rather understand it as a lifestyle that is adopted and that allows them to see the world around them from another point of view.
Preparation and equipment

The name of mountaineering arose from the place in which the mountain sport began to be practiced in modernity: the mountain range of the Alps, more precisely in the Mont Blanc Massif and although it is used to refer to the ascent of the mountains of the Alps, its use is recurrent also to designate the practice that is carried out in other parts of the world that are not precisely the Alps.
