The Physical warming Consists of the execution of various exercises in which the muscles and joints are involved and whose primary objective is to prepare the body to achieve better physical performance in the sport or practice in question and also to avoid any muscle contraction or injury to any part of the body.
It should be noted that physical warming is also often referred to as sports warm-up.
The idea is that through these exercises increase the temperature of the muscles, meanwhile, the intensity of these exercises will increase as the warm-up time progresses, that is, we will start with light exercises in intensity and then the intensity will be expanded in order to avoid efforts that can complicate the body and end in an injury, because that is the mission, to avoid a injury.
It should then be mentioned which are the main advantages of this warm-up: it favors physiological functions in general; motor skills, helping to gain in Balance and in the coordination
; benefits cardiac and respiratory activity; help the best performance in sports practice; and helps prevent injuries. There are four types of warm-ups: general warming (proposes a low intensity in order to prepare the muscles to carry out a physical activity), specific heating (This is the one that is executed at the behest of some sport because it will be aimed at preparing with special interest those parts of the body most committed to the sport in question. For example, in soccer it is common for soccer players to play games with the ball to warm up), preventive heating (This type is carried out when you are in a process of recovering from an injury and in addition to these exercises, heat baths and massages are usually added to the injured area) and dynamic heating (This type is characterized by mixing exercises of force, coordination, balance and flexibility, to just win in these senses).
