It was in the Paleolithic when the first hominids, descendants of the AustralopithecusThey began to develop their own tools in order to be able to carry out different activities for their subsistence. The first ancestor of man to build tools was Homo Habilis, later to be followed by Homo Erectus, Neanderthal Man and the Homo sapiens Sapiens (current human being), among others. From the first to the present human being, the building of tools would evolve more and more, achieving more complex and efficient instruments with the passage of time.

The Paleolithic human being was characterized by a lifestyle based on the hunting and the collection of food. This means that its existence was of the predatory type and not productive since it did not yet count with the possibility of making his own food, but he had to obtain what nature give. Such a situation entailed the direct consequence of permanent exhaustion of the resources, which made the Palaeolithic human being have to move from one place to another in search of new food resources. This means that it was a nomadic lifestyle in which the dwellings were not permanent but were spaces of nature momentarily occupied as places of protection and refuge.

As one of the most important elements of this period, the cave paintings were those that allowed the Palaeolithic human being to express his fears, his feelings and his thoughts that were based on highly magical and symbolic structures. By painting the animals that surrounded him, the Paleolithic human being estimated that he could approach them more easily and achieve greater achievements in his homework hunting and fishing.
