The very poor term is superlative corresponding to the word poor, therefore, it is used when you want to designate the maximum situation or degree of poverty in which a person is, social group or Nation. For someone to present a very poor state is the same as saying that he is in extreme poverty.

The poor is that individual who does not have what is necessary to tell himself that he lives with dignity, that is, he does not have access to the satisfaction of basic needs such as: health, education, to a decent home, to food, among the main factors that are taken into account when determining that condition or not.
