In real life
The term quarrelsome is clearly derogatory. When using this word, it is usually referred to someone from the underworld or who is part of a mafia. It can also refer to an offender who uses violence to commit criminal acts or the individual who gets into trouble with some frequency. The brawler from the point of view of psychology
If someone has an impulse for violent acts, it is very likely that he has some type of antisocial disorder of the conduct and, more specifically, a psychopathy. People with this profile have a psychological problem and pose a danger to themselves and to society. Violent behaviors have been studied by the psychology and there are a number of features of the personality that generally have a direct relationship with the pendency, such as irritability, emotional instability, lack of feelings of remorse or guilt.
The quarrelsome behavior can manifest itself in childhood and this is what happens with children who intervene in fights on a regular basis or who have aggressive behaviors. These behaviors should be a wake-up call for parents and educators, who have the obligation to redirect this type of antisocial behavior. Otherwise, it is likely that a child with a tendency to violence may turn into a quarrelsome adult.
