The term profile it is generally used and applied to two very specific and different situations. On the one hand to refer to the posture that only allows you to see one of the two side halves of a person's body. For example, when taking a photo it is very common that we prefer to expose ourselves in front of the camera lens with that profile that we know is the one that most favors us aesthetically, if it is the right, surely we will tell the photographer to please take us respecting that profile.
On the other hand, the word profile is also used a lot to designate those particular traits that characterize a person and of course serve to differentiate themselves from others. In this case, the physical question will have little or nothing to do with this sense of the term, it will be those questions that are not seen and that are invisible to the eyes, which determine its profile.
In defining the profile of a person, an aspect that is usually widely studied and taken into account by the
organizations and companies when choosing the staff that will integrate them, generally the following intervene factors: general knowledge, technical knowledge, communication skills, attitudes that they show and that match those requested for the position in question, among others.So, for example, for various positions, positions or tasks such as salespeople, designers, analysts, psychologists, teachers, administrators, project managers, among others, each of these will have a profile determined. For example, in the case of those positions that will require a strong salesperson profile, it will be carefully observed and will study that the applicant for the position observes characteristics such as good diction, communication skills, ease Y effectiveness in function of achieving the persuasion potential consumers, sympathy, good manners and good looks, among others.
Meanwhile, for those positions that keep a greater responsibility as may be the case of the Director of a Project it will be necessary that in addition to some of the aforementioned characteristics, the person has command capacity for the decision making that produce effective solutions and results in favor of productivity of the company, as well as a good management of interpersonal relationships because normally these types of positions involve the management of people under their charge.
