The concept of consensus is a term that we use to account for the adoption by common agreement, between two or more parties, about a specific issue, and that was in dispute or discussion between the parties intervening parties.
Agreement between two or more parties on a topic that was under discussion
Consensus is the verb, the act, the action from which that agreement or consensus is achieved. When we talk about consensus, we are always talking about the fact that in one way or another, the parties involved in the act have access to the consensus and that they do it consciously and voluntarily, because if this were not the case, we would not be talking about consensus but about a obligation or an imposition.
An action characteristic of the human being and that needs to make agreements with their peers to survive
The notion of reaching a consensus, of reaching a consensus, is something that characterizes the human being above the rest of the living beings because he is the only one capable of agreeing with another person explicitly or also implicit. Animals act on impulse and the act of consensus always supposes a certain rationality or awareness about what one is choosing to accept or about what one agrees to. That is why consensus is a very important and central act of the character of the human being because it can lead his mind and his ideas to something beyond the immediate and empirical experience he receives through his impulses or
emotions. This action is also relevant in the social sphere, because generally they are questions that concern the coexistence of a community, those that are submitted to agreements, so that everyone approves them, and of course they respect them.
Many times when the rules include some and exclude others, differences are generated that must be corrected if harmony is to be found in the context in question.
Then, under this circumstance, consensus will be promoted so that the parties involved can feel respected and included.
Individuals or qualified professionals themselves can reach consensus
Discussions to reach an agreement on something can be carried out directly by the protagonists and without intermediaries, But in some cases, when the tension sends, the ideal thing will be for a qualified professional, a lawyer, a mediator, or any other person to intervene. Another suitable professional who will be the one who will intercede at all times and will try to bring the parties closer so that the agreement reaches a good port.
The act of consensus is something that anyone can carry out in their daily life and that does not require too much qualification or preparation if not common sense as well as predisposition to listen to what the other wants to offer or propose. Consensus is what many are based on institutions Y organisms social, especially those that are dedicated to the establishment of commercial or economic deals, those that involve coexistence between several different political states, etc. However, anyone can agree in their daily life even for minor situations or circumstances such as a game.
We must also say that it is an action that occurs at all levels, from the most domestic level, such as that of a consortium that discusses what are the priorities for to fix common parts, even at the international level, two or more nations that must agree on how the project they promote will be on the trade of the area that integrate.
In these examples we can say that the administrator consortium and the council of administration they will act as a kind of mediator to obtain the support and agreement of the majority of the consortiums; and in the second example, the foreign ministers or any other official who has been assigned to the case will be responsible for reaching the agreement.
It is important to highlight that when the decisions that arise from any group, institutions, among others are agreed upon by the majority, they will enjoy a legitimacy Y I respect greater than if they have not been.
In the latter case, challenges and conflicts will surely appear because issues have been decided without having taken the time to promote consensus among all.
