A dome is one of the most important parts of the architecture as science and as art. The dome is what is used to close an open space and they usually have striking shapes both outside and inside. The dome can end closed in the shape of a cone, onion, circular or triangular according to the styleartistic to which reference is made. The building and placement of a dome is one of the most important moments in the edification since it requires a lot of care and details to be able to stay high and not succumb.
The dome is always a semicircle regardless of the way its top ends (be it pointed, rounded, etc.). The first domes or primitive forms of what we know today as domes used to always be made from a semicircle or semicircular arch. In this sense, it is always important in a dome the way in which the structure is going to remain upright without falling since, being a semicircle, it is not filled with material otherwise she is empty.
The domes have always been elements of great beautification
architectural not only inside but also outside. This is so since the domes are usually decorated in unique ways on the inside and on the outside they always have elements that make them stand out from the rest of the constructions. The domes, in addition, usually allow the passage of light through holes or windows, which is why the experience of the domes is always particular. At the same time, they allow to generate unique spaces since the space in height is opened more that would otherwise be covered by material and concrete. Themes in Dome
