At the behest of the biology, the genotype turns out to be the set of characteristic genes of each species, plant or animal, namely, the genotype is the genes in Format from DNA that an animal, a plant or a human being receives from inheritance on behalf of his two parents, mother and father, and that therefore it is made up of the two chromosome endowments that contain the genetic information of the being in question.
The genes responsible for the transmission of the characters of heredity always remain in the nucleus of the cell and it will be from there from where they control the synthesis of the protein that occurs in protoplasm.
While, the genotype is outwardly manifested as phenotype, which is nothing other than the Differential physical traits of individuals, such as the color of hair, eyes, skin, among others and that is also intimately influenced by the environment in which the individual in question lives and develops, then, the genotype is the genes of an individual and the phenotype the traits. The genotype can be distinguished by observing the DNA, instead the type of phenotype can be known through the
observation of the appearance external of an organism. The phenotype will also manifest itself in hereditary diseases; what the doctor will warn about a disease is the phenotype and from the extreme observations he makes, he will be able to make assumptions about the genotype.
The relationship between genotype and phenotype is not always so direct, since a phenotype can result from several genotypes and many of these are likely to be heavily influenced by the environment environment.
Genetics is the discipline biological study that deals with the study of genotypes and their external manifestations, phenotypes.
