The term gestate is a commonly used verb used to describe the act of giving birth to something, or someone. Gestation is the act that performs all mother when she carries her child in her womb, since it is at that moment that the baby is taking what will be her final form when it is born. Furthermore, in a more sense symbolic and not limited to the biological, the term can also be applied to other things, for example gestating an idea, gestating a draft, gestate a style of life, etc. All of them are examples of something that is born and that is shaped from a certain moment so that it becomes something specific and clearly delineated.
The most common use that is given to the word gestate is when it refers to one of the most beautiful moments or phenomena of nature and that has to do with the training of a new living being. In this sense, gestation is the act by which a mother carries what will be her baby or her child in her womb. fetus it has to go through to become a fully and properly formed baby.
