The concept of vandalism is a concept that has to do with the coexistence in society and that is applied to designate those acts of extreme violence that suppose aggressions especially against furniture or real estate that may or may not be your own. The idea of vandalism comes from that barbarian group that lobbied against the Roman empire to enter its borders through violence, generating together with other barbarian groups, the Roman fall and the beginning of the Middle Ages. Vandalism is a very common phenomenon especially in large cities and also especially in the public sphere since it is done visible through the damage, breakage or destruction of elements such as posters, traffic lights, stained glass as well as graffiti and others ways to aggression to foreign properties.
Whenever it is used, the concept of vandalism is endowed with a negative charge that has to do with illegal or illicit acts that attempt against the property private and that can also generate many damages to third parties, not only economic but emotional and psychological depending on the type of violence that is exerted. Vandalism is usually carried out by anonymous persons who act undercover since that this type of acts of violence and destruction are usually punished by different laws regional
As told to beginning, vandalism is a social phenomenon since it puts in risk peaceful coexistence within a community. This is especially clear when people attack public spaces that are free to use by anyone and whose damage can represent great alterations. In addition, vandalism is also a phenomenon that is encouraged and favored by the masses of angry, uncontrolled and angry people since anonymity and the presence of peers who act alike leads the individual to try to lose himself in the crowd to act in this irrational way and violent.
