The term Yoga is used to designate two issues. On the one hand, this is what is called one of the six traditional doctrines of Hinduism, which consists of a set of physical-mental disciplines that are destined to achieve spiritual perfection and union with the absolute, because basically those who hold a preeminently religious position, union or integration of the individual soul with God is to the maximum that they aspire, while and on the contrary, those who more than anything present a position of a rationalist type, the maximum achievement to be achieved will be the development of a conscience spiritual, something like knowing the origin of nature and the destiny of being.
And on the other hand, in the language current, people use the term yoga to refer to the set of practices derived from this discipline Millennial and that are oriented so that the people who practice them obtain a greater and better control of their bodies, on the one hand, and on the other hand mental concentration
.At present, yoga is a very common activity that concentrates as many followers as the gymnastics and its types, since the people who practice it find in it a species Escape from everyday worries and stress.
Yoga as mentioned above It was first developed in India about five thousand years ago in the hands of the great sages of this culture that they maintained that they should prepare their bodies for meditation through a series of exercises and postures, which would facilitate concentration while the meditation lasted in question.
The end result of these exercises was unite the mind with the body and the spirit to reach a state in which the mind is clear and ready for introspection and on the other hand, the body, pure and strong to go through that state, that is, a state of well-being widespread. The pillars that yoga finds to reach the long-awaited relaxation will be deep breaths and stretching of the members of the body, legs, arms.
Among the most popular types of Yoga we find the following: Hatha yoga, the most popular and the easiest to learn and that is taught in all the Yoga centers around the world; Bhakti Yoga, which is the type that focuses primarily on meditation; Mantra Yoga, for its part, which is based on the rhythmic repetition of sounds, songs or specific words that are believed to have certain healing powers just by emitting or pronouncing them. And the Kundalini Yoga, whose main task is the liberation of the Energy creative localized within each person.
Obviously, Yoga in itself will not magically bring health or tranquility to the person who practices it, but must also be accompanied by a balanced diet, time at the air free, exercise and practice of patience.
