That random, fortuitous, haphazard
The word random belongs to the language English in which it is used to indicate that which is random, fortuitous, haphazard. Meanwhile, something considered as random implies that it depends on luck or chance for it to happen or occur.
So when something depends on chance without obeying any method, it will be unknown or unexpected, and then the concept of random is applied in the English language.
Our language applies a fundamental use to it in electronics and computing
However, in our language it has been adopted and by case it is used as such, especially in the field of electronics and computingIn other words, it has been the new technologies, which in most cases have a foreign origin, which has led to the word random being adopted in Spanish as one more.
Function that allows us to make a selection in which chance commands
There are some electronic devices that have a function called random and that precisely if it is activated it will allow to achieve, obtain some random result that does not follow a strict order. For example, a
team audio that has the Random function will allow the Username, when activated, hear a CD in the order you want and not the way traditional in which it would be done, that is, the first theme occurs, then the second, third, and so on.Computer memory type RAM
But without a doubt, it is at the level of the use of computers where this concept sounds the most since in this way it designates a type of memory that computers have, the Random Access Memory or Random Access Memory, popularly called by its acronym RAM. What this memory does in computers is to save the activity carried out by software. The main characteristic of this memory is that it allows the user to read or to write the information in question in any memory position and having to wait the same time.
