According to the context in which it is used, the term Ranch will present different meanings.
On Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil and Uruguay , the ranch is called living place rural austere features. The materials used are very low qualitysuch as cardboard, zinc and stone. Individuals belonging to the lower classes of society tend to settle on ranches.
On the other hand, in Mexico and United States, the ranch can also be a farm or a settlementagriculturalin which cattle are raised.
At the request of the gastronomy, the ranch is a food ration, traditionally made in the same stew and that will correspond to each soldier or prisoner in the barracks or jails, as appropriate.
And in the marine environment Different issues will be called a ranch: the provision of food that the captain or sailors embark, the place where they stay a part of the crew and each of the divisions that will be made of sailors on a ship in order to keep them organized and disciplined.
