Regularity is everything that is presented in an order Newspaper, that is, it has a regular sequence. It is a characteristic that can be seen in events, in a numerical sequence or in any temporal sequence in which a certain order of things is appreciable.
The opposite of regularity is, logically, irregularity, a circumstance that indicates disorder and instability.
Regularity in nature
Natural events occur regularly. Climate changes, movement of planets, day-night succession or biological rhythms are some examples of permanent change. In all these processes a systematic and measurable change takes place and, consequently, the human being has observed a regularity in each one of them. In fact, the different scientific disciplines try to establish the regularities that affect the content they study.
On the stage of human aging
Let's think about the human aging process. In this process of permanent change, biologists have determined regular patterns that depend on of a rhythm, which is activated by the biological clock that is located in our brain. Continuing with the same example, it could be the case that a person had a
disease that altered its regularity in its biochemical development and in this joint the regularity would be altered and, therefore, it would be something exceptional.A brief reflection
It is difficult to find a reality when margin of some kind of regularity. The reason It is obvious: everything happens in a certain time and time is, by definition, something regular. Thus, we need to order and explain what surrounds us, otherwise we would be facing absolute disorder.
The concept of regularity is found in all areas. Scientists investigate and create formulas and systems for describe events that have a certain periodicity. And in everyday life we do things based on established guidelines (we dance with a series of regular steps and the same happens with work or any kind of routines). It can be said that we seek and need order because our mind is capable of establishing all kinds of regularities.
The idea of regularity is associated with constancy, stability and, in short, it is something that generates confidence. The irregular produces unsafety and generates all kinds of doubts. However, sometimes regularity provokes the opposite reaction: what always happens the same and with the same order can be boring and not very stimulating.
