The remake of a fictional story or popular artwork

The word remake is of English origin and refers in this language to the new version that an artist makes of a play, of a composition musical, a movie, a TV show, among others. Meanwhile, the tremendous use that this term has had in our language has caused it to be incorporated and that we also use it extensively and almost excluding to refer the same.

Generally, remakes bring to account new versions of works that in the most recent or remote past were able to captivate the public.

Respect the essence

It should be noted that the remakes try to respect the details of the original story, faithfully reproducing it and the same is transferred to the characters involved, their characteristics and presences are maintained in the remake to avoid gaps and inconsistencies in the new story that affect their attractive.

The differences will be given by the announcement of new actors and by the modification of some contexts but not much else.

Hollywood, pioneer in remakes

Without a doubt, the Hollywood film industry is a pioneer in the realization of remakes. It is common for each year to decide to revive an old title or to remake a successful film in another part of the world.

In recent years, in the seventh art, it has become a constant practice that production film of a geographic location x remake a contemporary and very successful film of another country. This has happened recently with the Argentine film El Secreto de sus ojos, directed by the Argentine perform Juan José Campanella and winner of the Òscar award for best foreign film in the year 2010.

After causing an event in his homeland, Hollywood, he set his sights on history and decided to make a remake to suit him. The Secret in their Eyes, which is the North American remake that did not even change the title but instead had a translation literal, will be released soon and will feature the stellar presence of Nicole Kidman and Julia Roberts.

Although for a large part of the cinephile public it is super attractive to find remakes and for this reason they are usually very supported in terms of the call as well it is a reality that many of them end up disappointing the viewers who saw the original... because it is impossible not to fall into such comparisons hateful.
