The concept of reintegration indicates that someone is separated from an activity and has the intention of doing it again. In the context of people who are in prison and finish their sentence, they speak of reintegration penitentiary, that is, the process by which the ex-convict rejoins daily life outside of the prison. With a definition and an example, it is now possible to get into the idea of this post, labor reintegration.
Work is a basic element in our life. In normal situations people have the need to work to satisfy all their needs. However, the job is neither stable nor guaranteed. This circumstance causes many workers to leave their work activity for some reason (termination of a contract, dismissal or other causes). At this juncture, the worker has the need to adopt a strategy to achieve their labor reintegration, that is, to find a new job and the corresponding salary that allows him to face his life with a certain normality.
Key aspects in labor reintegration
Each person who seeks her reintegration into work is a different case. A young and educated person is not the same as someone over 50 and with experience in a sector that is in decline.
The experts in labor reintegration advise that the affected person adopt a proactive and dynamic posture in the search for work and avoid passivity and discouragement. To do this, it is advised that the job search be approached as if it were a job. Another factor to take into account is knowledge of the resources tools that can help the unemployed (reintegration programs or possible public subsidies depending on their personal characteristics).
Consistency in education, keeping up with progress
A very relevant aspect is ongoing training. If the work activity is subject to constant transformation, the worker cannot ignore this reality, especially if he is looking for a new job. Continuous training is probably the most effective way to achieve the desired job reintegration.
The phenomenon of self-employment: create your own job
In recent years, traditional labor reintegration is being abandoned by a new paradigm, self-employment. The idea of self-employment is simple and at the same time complicated: if I don't have a job, I will create it myself. This way of solution is framed within the entrepreneurship and of the new emerging figure, the entrepreneur.
On conclusion, labor reintegration is a social problem, which can potentially affect anyone, which must be faced with optimism and using all available tools.
