These concepts are widely used in relation to all kinds of situations, such as vacation periods, the calculation of deadlines to pay a fine or the record of a document.

In each type of company there is a agreement general in which a work calendar is agreed annually.

The difference between one criterion and the other can be several days, since when using the working day concept, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are excluded.
The question of deadlines
When an activity uses the idea of deadlines, it is necessary to know what deadlines are being talked about. Depending on the activity, the terms can be expressed in calendar or business days. On the other hand, it is necessary to know from which day a term begins (for example, from the purchase of a product or the notification of a fine).
