The term satiate is used to designate the act of satisfying a need or desire understood at the level bodily or physical. Saturate means that a bodily or physical need such as drinking Water, consuming food or performing a certain physical act has been satisfied through different acts such as proportion of drink, food, etc. When we talk about satiating we are doing it mainly at a level organic and corporal and not so much at the level of the intellect although in some cases it can be used figuratively or metaphorically to refer to such situations.
The act of satiating is one of the most important and necessary acts of any living being it must carry on to just stay alive. This is so since when we talk about satiating we are meaning that there is an organic need to satisfy and that cannot be left unfulfilled, at least without generating some type of ailment or deterioration in the Health physical or psychic of the person. It is important that humans or other living beings such as animals and plants satisfy their needs for food and water, as well as desires to purge to remove waste from such consummation. Other acts of satiation that human beings can perform may have to do with reactions to certain particular situations, of great
tension, pain or discomfort. For example, in a fight or discussion It is important for the individual to express his anguish or anger.It is rare to use the concept of satiating on an intellectual or emotional level, although there may also be cases in which the term is used in a figurative sense. In this case, one can speak of satisfying the needs of learn, to know places, to understand different cultures, to enjoy different experiences, etc. and in all these cases the act of satiating is spoken of from a metaphorical point of view.
