The sandal is a kind of footwear used by the human being due to its ease of installation, its simplicity, its low economic cost and its comfort in situations of much hot. Sandals are a type of open shoe that is made up of a sole (which can vary in thickness) and something that supports the upper part of the foot, it can be a delicate strap or a band. There are very varied models of sandals, some very simple and others very complex and delicate, but in any case, you could to consider to the sandal as one of the first forms of footwear invented by the human being.
The sandal was for a long time one of the most used footwear. This has to watch with two fundamental elements: ancient civilizations were largely located in regions where sand, heat and sun were predominant climatic elements, so open-type footwear was always useful for those situations. On the other hand, the sandal is perhaps the most primitive form of footwear and this is why many civilizations or ancient societies used similar models simply because they were cheap and easy to produce. Today sandals are typical footwear of
summer and many different models of it can be found, both in the case of men's sandals and women's sandals: some more rustic, others more delicate, with or without ornaments, with thick soles or thin soles, with wide strips or bands, etc.Although the sandal is a comfortable and cool footwear, it can also be inappropriate in many cases. Thus, it is uncomfortable when it rains since the foot is unprotected against the Water. Also, many experts argue that sandals together with other types of footwear such as shoes with stilettos end generating bad posture or pain in some bones of the foot due to the way one walks when carrying them put on.
