A smartphone is a device that is used as a telephone and that has considerable computing capacity, a fact that makes it possible to integration of applications oriented to different tasks. The smartphones can be considered the evolution of the telephony mobile, an evolution that is still continuing and has a long future ahead. As we have seen, smartphones have unleashed a true technology race, with a large number of participating companies and a constant development that seems to never stop trying to add more and more functions and improve those already existing. The old microprocessor companies such as Intel and AMD have taken note of these circumstances and are trying to make the development of their technologies is oriented to this demand for more mobility, a fact that undoubtedly constitutes a break with respect to what was happening ten years ago.
