When the concept of terminal is used, reference is made to that physical space in which all the service lines of transport of a certain region or a certain type of transport (for example, buses or train). In this sense, the word terminal is used almost as a noun although it is actually an adjective that qualifies a station or a stop as the terminal. However, the common use of the term has made it almost a noun since the terminal is understood to be a place in itself. If we return to the idea of a qualifying adjective, the concept of terminal is also commonly used to refer to those stages of certain diseases in which the situation is irreversible and it is assumed that the person will not be able to survive for long more.
The notion that a physical space is the terminal of a transport service assumes that it is there from where all the vehicles or transports that are put in place start and to where they arrive. March. Terminals are generally the most important stations or stops on the entire route for a number of reasons. In the first place, because that is where all or a large part of the fleet normally remains (be it trains, buses, short buses
distance, etc.), so the space must be larger. On second place, the terminal is also the place where all the route lines arrive, which means that the movement vehicles and people is much more important too. Finally, in the terminals it is in the places where you can purchase various services ranging from tickets to consumption of food products, gifts, etc.Depending on the type of transport involved, as well as the region in which it is located, the terminal may be more or less sophisticated. In general, aircraft terminals tend to be much more sophisticated than those of other modes of transport, even having safety private.
