In its most general and wide-ranging use, the concept of recklessness refers to the lack of prudence that a person, a group, among other possible actors has..
Lack of prudence in someone or something
Meanwhile, the prudence is the moderation, temperance, caution and good sense that someone shows when acting and speaking.
In prudence, reflection and analysis stand out over impulse. And it is precisely this salient characteristic that allows, in many cases, to make the right decision at the right time, because of course, normally whoever acts under the control of his impulsiveness in most of the occasions, he does not think, he does not stop to do it and he can make serious mistakes that bring him consequences serious.
Lack of reflection, of responsibility and commitment
We must also say that in those who act recklessly there is a total absence of responsibility and social commitment, because they do not even think about themselves and much less about those who has around it, because almost always those acts that are characterized by recklessness have consequences on the own person and on others, and obviously they are not at all good.
The person who behaves recklessly is called reckless and his opponent, the one who does so prudently will be called prudent.
A virtue to be cultivated
Prudence is a virtue and those who possess it will always act appropriately and fairly. When it is said that this or that acts or speaks recklessly, it is because he does not use clear and correct, for example when having to give account of some bad news or unpleasant situation, because respect the feelings and the lives of those around him, constantly putting them at risk as a consequence of his untimely and unresponsible actions. That is precisely a reckless, a little responsible person who cannot take charge of a situation without complicating it with some action or comment.
As a virtue that it is, prudence turns out to be highly praised and motivated by the Catholic Church. At Masses, priests always try to include this virtue in their sermons to instill it in the faithful who listen to them.
It is very important for a committed Christian life, because it not only brings us closer to God but also because it also implies an action in which self-care and care of neighbor is prioritized.
A person who drives drunk, who spends all of his savings even though he does not have job, who shoots a firearm in a place that is full of people, or who is concerned with a ideology determined in an aggressive and untimely way, you are clearly acting recklessly.
On the other hand, Reckless act or saying is called recklessness. I really consider that it has been reckless for you to tell your grandmother that dad had an accident without first having prepared her.
Reckless recklessness: negligence that causes serious harm to third parties
And in Right there is talk of reckless recklessness to refer to the negligence that can cause danger or harm to other people and that can also be considered as a misdemeanor or crime depending on the consequence it causes.
Driving a car while under the influence of drugs is considered reckless, especially if someone who is driving in this state runs over a person.
Unfortunately, in recent years we have gotten tired of seeing cases of this type of recklessness called recklessness, and that as such anticipates its name is certainly risky, because the act that characterizes it is absolutely dominated by the danger that can be caused to another, let alone one same.
The example given of someone who drives a car or any other vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol is a classic case of reckless recklessness.
Although the controls by the state and the forces of safety depending on it to combat these cases, consciousness is still very vague and every day we see more events in which someone drunk or drugged kills another.
In order to move forward in this sense and to retract this type of behavior, awareness campaigns must be increased and the incorporation of vial education already from the first years of the school, so that the person becomes familiar from an early age with her responsibilities.
