The term biologist designate the one individual who is professionally engaged in biology. To perform as such, you must complete a degree in Biology at the university and graduate accordingly, which implies understanding and knowledge of the principles that pertain to Biology.
Broadly speaking, the biologist knows how to identify the elements of both animal and plant biota; he interprets the interactions that occur between organisms with each other and with their environment; develops research projects; develops strategies and plans to conserve and reuse renewable resources.
The biologist is a professional who throughout our history has managed to leave a super important mark on the science of biology as consequence of his investigative and experimental work and that it was the one that allowed him to arrive at the discovery and knowledge of processes essential.
Even more, history is full of these professionals who with their work managed to break down barriers, including:
Louis Pasteur, Charles Darwin, Alexander Fleming, Ivan Pavlov and Carl Linne, among others. On the other hand, the biologist can specialize in any of the various fields in which biology is subdivided, such as: molecular biology, biology mobile, Marine biology, evolutionary biology and structural biology, among other.
While, biology is a natural science dedicated especially to analyze the properties and characteristics of living beings, focusing especially on the origin and development of these.
Basically, biology will identify the attributes that distinguish each species and thus study the behaviors, the way in which they interact with their peers, how they relate to the environment and what are their habits of reproduction, something substantial when it comes to propagation and conservation of the species.
Once the analysis bears fruit, biology proceeds to enunciate the laws that regulate the functioning of this or that organism.
